We are a non-profit organization in Massachusetts and are therefore not paying unemployment insurance for our employees. With the bill that was passed by the federal government, does this mean that our employees are able to apply for unemployment benefits? We have about 150 employees.
Because this unemployment benefit is being offered on a federal level, the fact that you do not pay unemployment insurance through your state is not a factor. Your employees would still be eligible to apply.
We are a global family of church and business leaders that exists to see a thriving church in every community reaching people with the message of Jesus. We provide relationships, resources, and opportunities to leaders of new and existing churches so that they can thrive. Learn more at arcchurches.com.
